I was not told and therefore was not expecting to receive an email requiring my signature to authorise the work to be carried out. I do not check emails regularly throughout my working day. It went OK but only after a few false starts. Communication was tricky initially.

After having a shocking experience ( which I’ve notified VW Customer Service about) at a dealership I’ve dealt with for 40 years - I gave VW a last chance and went to a different dealership … and thankfully have had an excellent experience from the female sales executive there.
