Generally I was happy buying from the dealership. Good communication leading up to the sale but there were a couple of things where I think it could've become excellent. 1) I was given a near impossible deadline to get the most value for my trade in. I was told if I don't hit that deadline then I would lose hundreds. 2) When I turned up its like the car hadn't really been inspected despite the fact the salesman kept saying we do 147 point check on all our cars. First there was the engine bay, before I'd seen it the salesman said we have to take it away because the engine bay hasn't been cleaned(still wasn't clean when I eventually got to look but I let it slide). Then whilst looking around the car I found parking tickets from the previous owner and one of the trays in the back was broken.The biggest change for good I'd suggest is the promise customers get to keep in touch. I've tried to reach the salesman several times and have never once received an email back. It's almost as if they want to get the sale done and then once its done they aren't interested in staying in touch at all. This for me is the biggest let down. Buying from the dealer, I honestly wanted to feel confident I was in good hands and to be a valued customer but I think it seems that's not the case at Lookers. Its a case of get the sale and be gone. Real shame that

Overall I was satisfied with how smoothly everything went. My only disappointment was after being told the car was washed and vacuumed it was only hoovered in the front area the back hadn't been touched so not a complete job done carried out on this occasion
