I was very happy with Adam’s understated style, there was no hard sell but he was responsive when I wanted more information. Much better than most car sales men. I was unimpressed with management, when I arrived after a 5 hour journey to collect my car they all sat facing me at their desks looking miserable and not one of them made eye contact or smiled - it was as if I was invisible. If I’d been local and had that experience I would have walked away without buying a car.

The car went in for a service but extra work was required. Alex Castle organised the parts and the work very effectively, thank you.If you miss an update call it is difficult to get through to the service department, the phone rings and you are left with an answerphone.It would be worth the dealership reviewing this situation to improve the customer experience.

I first tried to view at vw Portsmouth dealer (Peter cooper). The experience there was so appalling that I needed to look elsewhere. I tried lookers and found it was a wholly different experience. Staff were polite, personable and exceptionally helpful. I was impressed by the professionalism. And was very grateful for the advice and assistance. I eventually decided on a different vehicle (mazda) but would certainly recommend lookers.
