Rachael explained the car in detail during hand over. . She was most helpful throughout the whole process from start to finish. Even after taking the car away Rachael was able to assist with issues and small problems I encountered with grace and respect for me, the customer. Much appreciated. One thing I would like to comment on for the manufacturer would be the wing mirrors don’t have the automatic fold in like my previous Tiguan, when the car is locked. The fold in gave a visual message that you had locked the car. This manual operation is a right pain and dangerous to carry when parked on a busy road and you have to stand there pushing the wing mirrors in as the traffic speeds by you. You also have to lock the car and then try the handle to ensure the locking system has worked. Most unsatisfactory. A backward step. I would like to hear a response from VW themselves as to the reason behind this major change.

Checking in online makes arrival much quicker and easier. It’s very handy having your MOT details sent over for you to review work and the online process checker was helpful to, in order to keep an eye on the progress of my booking. My experience at Lookers was nice and smooth, MOT/service and communication was prompt. Some extra work needed on the car was organised promptly, with no pressure from Amy or the team for added extras etc. Amy asked what I wanted repaired/seen to, discussed prices of new tyres etc and my car was sorted/repaired the next day. Communication was great, via phone and email to ensure all was in order (invoices etc).

I was greeted on entry and then discussed the requirements of the service. I received updates and a video assessment of the underside of the vehicle. I was informed when the car was ready. I collected. All went without and hitches. The service department staff were very good.
