I have one major disappointment which was probably beyond the scope of Lookers to have an influence upon. I ordered a VW ID4 Life Pro 77kWh and my car was delivered one year after my firm order was placed. By the time my vehicle was delivered it was no longer the current version of the model I ordered. During the 12 months wait VW decided to call the base model ID4 the 'Life Edition' and gave it alloy wheels instead of steel. The vehicle I received was not the 'Edition' model. I therefore received an obsolete vehicle. With each of the 9 previous new Volkswagen vehicles I have purchased I have been supplied with the latest model including any 'facelift modifications' not an obsolete vehicle. I am very disappointed to have been supplied with an obsolete vehicle rather than the current model. Given my 12 month wait I am surprised that a company like Volkswagen to whom I have been so loyal a customer would do this.
