The member of staff I dealt with James Earnshaw was very professional and took on board my preferred options regarding colour and model He is keeping those requirements on file and hopefully in the not to near future I will be driving my next VW away from the branch

Handover was very smooth and painless with excellent customer service

as both items on the list were not fully resolved i.e. the seat, would take the car off the road to see if they could manage the fault my opinion but i'm not a mechanic just a driver with 58 years of accident free driving i would replace the seat (not your selves VW) because you kind of no they are not going to be able to fix it that would be the simple fix but my wife needs this car every day of her life being disabled. the second issue of the excessive heat you can feel on the bonnet top just above the wheel arch area both sides gets so hot at times you could fry an egg but it appears to be normal so the mechanis say and i do not doubt his ability as a mechanic but i have had a quite allot of cars as you can imangine in the lat 58 years and one in perticular our last car the Seat Tarraco which is definitly the best car that i have ever had and as you no the VW is a copy of the same car guess what it did not have this problem corection strange situation eventualy i think it will have an effect on the paint work not knowing what degrees of heat the paint can stand up to never mind not every thing is perfect nor am i just my opinions

When fault was raised only appointment was in 10 days time but 2 days later they contacted us to say they could take the car in and that someone would come and pick the car up.

I hadn’t realised that the system was booking me at VW not Skoda - in the end it was a good thing, but I think it needs to be clearer I mistakenly booked my MOT with VW instead of Skoda and am now very relieved that I did! There was an issue with my MOT and the service department secured the parts, fixed the issue and re-tested. Throughout I was kept informed by a dedicated receptionist who was friendly and kind throughout the many hours I was in the showroom.
