Having visited Lookers Northallerton many times over the last 7 years, they always strive to offer the best possible service. This visit was no exception. The booking process was easy and I was offered a service plan that I took up, as the savings made it more than worthwhile. The reception staff were very pleasant and efficient, and explained all aspects clearly, including some issues with my car. The service engineer who did the service and inspection and did the video was very clear and informative and clearly showed and explained the issues found during his comprehensive checks. While I was waiting I was approached by a lovely lady called Kerry, who got me a nice cup of coffee and engaged in some pleasant conversation with me, showing genuine interest, which made that waiting experience more pleasant. I had booked a while you wait appointment, and considering all the work and checks done, the wait was only just over an hour which was very good. I was given a price for the extra work that needed doing which I declined. The price was a fair bit more than I could get it done elsewhere, but of course, I appreciate this was because it was a VW main dealer doing the work with VW OEM parts, so I understood why it was more. I will be visiting again next year for my next service, and have also recommended this dealership in the past to my dad, who bought a brand new car here and still gets his current VW Golf serviced here. The software update was finished more quickly than expected and the whole exercise could not have been more efficiently completed. Front desk staff were most helpful and friendly.
