You delivered Golf BA19VFV to me on 29 October without a jack.Despite numerous requests you have only sent me part of the jack,,there was no crank handle, so still after all this time I am unable to change a wheel if necessary. This I consider to be thoroughly shoddy customer care.

In brief. My wife's vehicles went in to Preston Lookers for MOT , under warranty. Vehicle failed MOT and plans needed to be put in place for repair and re MOT. These plans did not go as explained / planned , or on time . My wife and were without our car over the weekend and subsequent days .Eventually the car was ' sorted ' and returned by a number of Lookers employees . The co ordinator of the repair Chantelle subsequently said that the staff returning the vehicle had been instructed to fill the car with fuel as 'compensation' for delay / distress caused . Chantelle subsequently emailed us to say this had not been done as per her instructions , and having spoken to the employees concerned she explained arrangements had been put in place for a bank payment to be made , which would be done in 7 to 10 days hence , ( our account details were shared) . 14 days later , and having emailed Chantelle today 7.10.25 , without a response, I have to inform you that my wife and I, who had been upset with the service we received , are now angry ....very angry .For your background info, we were a 4 x VW family , 4 persons, 4 VW's, all purchased via Corkills Wigan . We are now a 1 VW family the car in question , mainly a result of appaling service . Our cars visit to VW in Preston was an attempt to salvage something from our previous good service , which has proved fruitless , I am sure you would agree.Comments , compensation offered and kind words welcome ........

I agreed to purchase a Volkswagen Touareg from Lookers Volkswagen Preston. The official documents and advertisement stated the mileage was 2,000 miles. However, just before delivery, I was informed the actual mileage was 4,481 miles. The explanation given was that mileage is only updated monthly, the car was being driven by the head accountant, and in one month it had accumulated an extra 2,500 miles.I paid £59,700 for this car specifically because it was advertised and documented at 2,000 miles. If I had known the true mileage was 4,481 miles, I would never have agreed to pay this price. Comparable cars with 4,500–5,000 miles are advertised around £54,000–£55,000. If I had wanted a 4,500–5,000 mile car, I could have purchased one for much less.I trusted the information provided because this is an official Volkswagen dealership. The result is misleading and incorrect information being given to me, which has affected my decision. The compensation offered (£250–£500) does not reflect the real difference in value. The dealership then said I could cancel the sale and receive my money back, but so far my refund has not been processed. This is unacceptable, especially considering that when I purchased the car I transferred the payment on the same day.I also requested delivery last week (Friday or Saturday), but I was told the car could only be delivered on Monday. It now seems this delay was because the accountant was still using the car and they could not provide me with the vehicle sooner. Finally, I must question the practice of using cars that are actively advertised for sale as demonstrator or staff vehicles. Allowing employees to add thousands of miles to a car already on the market is unreasonable and misleading for customers.I expect either a fair adjustment to the price or a full refund of my deposit without delay. Otherwise, I will escalate this matter directly to Volkswagen UK for further review.
