I received two online service check-ins and a telephone call as well as speaking to the service department. This made me call back to check I was actually booked in! The previous system was better.Kieran was perfect.

Given more information when viewing vehicle, talked me through the car instruments.Offered a drink or any good service packages to help with looking after the car.Arrived on time but had to wait for nearly 20 minutes while the salesman was sat with another couple , completely ignoring us.No drinks offered, didn’t realise I had to set up with VW insurance, & that I had to pay an additional cost of £180 for car tax.No service package was offered which I discovered was on a Black Friday deal.I was quiet disappointed with overall service as it had better much better at the Inchcape dealer in Manchester, where we bought our daughter’s polo.

Handover was fine.My main concern/frustration was communication after the order had been placed.I had a long wait to get my car (which I completely understand out of everyone’s control), but the ongoing delays were only communicated to me when I contacted the garage.This included when build dates passed and I would contact the Garage to be given a new build date without having been told the previous bill date was being moved.I think I was a bit lost in the system when a member of staff left the business, but if this is the case, then the system needs to change.I was allocated a new member of staff to deal with me, but it seemed he was the only one who could answer my queries so when he was busy, I had to wait for him to return my calls. I found this frustrating and slopey-shouldered.Even when my car arrived at the garage, it was me who contacted them to be told it was sat waiting. After a 20 month wait, I would have appreciated some proactivity in letting me know then the next steps could be arranged.Really good- delivered it to my house. I think I got the info I needed. I did feel slightly rushed- the car waiting to take the salesman back to the garage kept its engine running.I was also requested not to complete any customer service surveys unless I was going to give a 5 star review and I feel this is very disingenuous
