Unusual, difficult situation with unexpected problem in new car. Explained situation and resolved as soon as could. Hazel particularly good in keeping us informed.

First service on car purchased 1/12/19. No problems with actual service but surprised when asked for payment as the cost of the first two services was incorporated in purchase price. Receptionist acknowledged error after documents produced. Appears her documentation did not correspond exactly with those of the salesperson. .

My experience from my visit is very good, it was an easy process, where the dealership got everything in place. I will definitely re-visit in the future.

I particularly appreciated the support provided by the Service department which was friendly, helpful and professional.

I contacted Lookers Darlington who said that anything to do with the brakes probably wasn’t covered Under warranty . I was unhappy with their response so took the car to Middlesbrough who asked me to leave the car as it might be a safety issue! I had a phone call to say there was a seized rear calliper and had been ordered and would Arrive and be fitted tomorrow. Next time I saw the car was after a call to say work was complete. Thanks Middlesbrough VW but not Darlington.
