Disappointed that my car requires new rear brake disc’s after only 9500 miles.(£400 to replace).I was told that it was probably because it has been stood for too long which I explained it hadn’t been then was told it may be because of the winter weather and the the discs getting grit in them which I doubt very much . I have previously had five brand new cars in a 15 year period which have had 30000 miles plus on them and I’ve never had any brake issues with any of them.whatsoever.. I suggest the quality of materials used on the initial build of the car should be looked into if the discs need replacing after such a short period of time. The car is generally a decent car overall but because of the brake issues I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend a Vw to any of my family or friends.

I had a lovely experience at lookers. Chris was very knowledgeable, helpful and very prompt with all communication. It helped to make the process a lot smoother and lot less stressful for me. As a first time buyer, Any issues or queries I had were answered almost immediately via email or phone call. I can’t thank him enough. My experience was amazing. No one likes a pushy salesman and Chris was never pushy with sales. As controversial as that may seem for a sales man, i never felt as though he was just selling me something for the sake of it. He took the time to gage what type of car I was looking for and showed me various options and took the time to organise a car for me that was from another dealership. After buying the car he kept in contact with me to check everything was fine. Any problems I have/had are in the process of being rectified too. A really good experience overall from the team at lookers Teeside!
