Great customer service, Iain M took the time and patience to show me round the new car/van and made me valued as I left and he kept me updated in the whole ordering process, shout out to Jim W who also helped during the application. I'd like to specifically mention Neil Ferguson who displayed exceptional customer service skills. The troubles with my vehicle were messy to say the least and the consideration and patience displayed by Neil was greatly appreciated.

I gave 5 stars for communication, but there was one issue, I asked to be phoned to tell me when the vehicle was dropped off, but I wasn't, but I think maybe I wasn't clear enough about that. I also wasn't sure when the vehicle would be back, the same day or the next, and I asked to be phoned to let me know, but I wasn't, I had to phone in. I have Autism, and get a bit discombobulated when things happen without being ready for them, or not knowing when things are going to happen. So perhaps a note could be put on my file to say I need to be phoned before the vehicle is collected and dropped off, and kept informed of when it will be dropped back, or there are any changes to plan. I would really appreciate this. I am also currently housebound, meaning I can't really get to the car, or only with a lot of effort. When the driver returned it there was someone in my space (my Blue Badge space, they didn't have a blue badge) and so he had parked across the road. I asked the driver if he could please go down again and move it into my space, which he did gladly, asking the person parked there to move, which was very good of him. However, he then reversed parked it. I have a wheelchair ramp, and when I am able to go out again, I might use the wheelchair to go to the local shops, but the ramp has to open onto the road, it can't open on to the pavement as it is a raised surface. I had to shout out the window and ask him to please turn it around, which he did, no problem. When he came up he said there was paperwork in the vehicle, I asked him if he could please bring it up, which he did. So, I don't fault the driver at all, he was very nice, and went above and beyond, but in future could there be a note put on my file saying that my vehicle needs to be parked in my Blue Badge Space (if it's available, obviously nothing can be done if someone with a Blue Badge is in it, as it's not technically anyone's space, anyone with a blue badge can use it, but it's a blue badge space that I got put in in front of my door), and it not possible, as near to my house as possible so that I can keep an eye on it. Also, that it needs to be parked with the front of the vehicle facing the pavement. And that any paperwork could be brought up with the keys. I have written a reminder in my diary to ask these things, but I have memory issues, and so it would be great if these notes were on file. Also I didn't like putting the driver to all that hassle, so it would be great if everyone knew what I need to be done, then I don't have to feel like a pain in the neck asking the driver to go up and down, turn the car around, and bring up the paperwork. And they don't have the hassle of being asked to do these things. Apart from those very minor things, that were not foreseeable things, and not anything that Lookers did wrong, I was very happy with the service.
