The service provided by Kate was excellent. I had spoken with her several times prior to our appointment and she went above and beyond, providing information and advice about our vehicle. She was extremely knowledgeable and patient and is a credit to your company.

The WAV developed a fault and RAC advised it needed a knock sensor. There was a problem in the exhaust area and I was advised not to drive it. I contacted Lookers and explained the problem but the van could not be checked in until 30 5 2023. Caroline Kenny is very severely disabled and cannot use an ordinary car. Further wheelchair taxis are very hard to come by. But the young woman did not seem to understand our predicament and stated although being a mobility customer we would still have to wait. Neither, given that the van was displaying a fault, could the pick up return service be offered. However, after I lodged a complaint via email, Glasgow Lookers contacted me and our circumstances immediately changed, for the better. The WAV was uplifted and assistance in obtaining a hire car 29/3/23 was given. The van was repaired and returned and is running beautifully. I will be picking Caroline up from respite at Leuchie House, North Berwick on 7/4/23. I checked her in on Mon 27/3/23 but felt quite nervous at driving but I kept to the slow lane and took my time. I would hate to damage the vehicle or hurt someone but I had to get her there as we were both exhausted. So, although the service initially was upsetting, the staff at Glasgow were excellent.

It’s always nice to have a chat with Ian and Chris…two really decent guys…I also enquired about different wheels and a bumper protecter and got all the info I was looking for. The wee mechanic came out for a chat too, and gave me some sound advice which was very much appreciated👍

The day after my vehicle was in for an mot I get an email that the cam belt is due for renewal. Given the vehicle is on a service plan and gas been in twice in the last couple of months this would have been know about and could have been booked at the same time. I now have to make another booking giving me an extra round trip and unnecessary time.
