Was looked after from start to finish couldn’t fault the experience would highly recommend Vw van centre Baillieston

My new vehicle was ordered during a very difficult time for the motor industry due to covid19 and issues with semi conductors so there was understandable build delays etc which meant lengthy periods with no updates which at the time felt like a lack of communication from the sales team but I do understand there was most likely unfortunately nothing to communicate during theirs times! When updates where available the communication was friendly and informative! Good service during difficult times!

After sales manager Neil Ferguson was very helpful and sorted out the few issues we had with the vehicle.

Price quoted on phone was not what I paid, when I queried this, the girl at reception stated contact centre never add pump into quote but I asked for a new pump and timing belt which was also stated on the sheet before the van arrived at the dealership, the prices should be re confirmed at the time keys are dropped off

I have owned VW and used Lookers Baillieston for several years. I recently purchased a new to me camper van. The mileage was low and the last service not with VW. I wanted to bring the service back to a credible dealer. I tried to book online and turned up at the appointed time to find the online service had not connected with the local garage. I ended up being put back 2 weeks. It happens I suppose but should it? Also, the option to have a lift home (I live nearby) should really be removed, with covid19 I don't think this is an option for the dealership which simply causes disappointment and a last minute taxi which could have been avoided. Otherwise, VW is a quality brand supported by quality staff and premises. Tidy up the online booking and remove options that in reality can't be supported.

Sometimes slow phone response

Van was blasted with water just before taking a look so looked good but when it was dry it has a few scratches, back door won’t open from outside and power folding mirror won’t close

We were interested in a camper van but the one on offer was just too big and a bit out of our price range also. Chris Wallace was extremely knowledgable and professional and we were very impressed with his honest and courteous manner. We are sorry that the vehicle did not suit us and are perusing a much smaller campervan. Thank you for your assistance.

Had to reset tyre monitors at first roundabout. Team done the reset. There was a nail in the tyre that was not picked up on pre inspection . Top cover of driver seat belt missing. Also missing was the wheel key.
