I was originally told that the service and cam belt replacement would be completed in one day. Due to staff shortages this was not the case, and though I appreciate this I was somewhat disappointed that I was not kept informed of progress and I had to ring several times for an update. This caused a problem as my daughter who works near Lookers, was due to pick up the car and then her son from a nearby nursery. This was impacted by the fact that she had to pick up the child seat from Lookers and arrange alternative transport. However the overall outcome was good, just lack of communication was the problem. I will definitely use Lookers in Carlisle again. The staff I came across were excellent.

When I dropped the car off first thing in the morning for servicing, I was expecting to be able to wait at the Dealership, but apparently, I did not make this clear when booking. I did not know I had to and I was not asked if I wanted to. So it was a surprise when I was told the car would be ready late afternoon. But the staff at VW offered me a lift home and when the car was ready delivered the car to me at home. This was good service.

Excellent service from Jasmine, she was very helpful and made the whole process easy. I was offered a very fair price for the trade in on my old car and there was great help to try to make the finance suit my needs. Only minor comments are that the car either wasn't valeted (as requested) or wasn't done to a very high standard and both key fob batteries required replacement following collection.

Although the car had been well prepared there were a few things which should have noticed during the preparation. They were; Car needed 10 litres of Adblue as tank was nearly empty. Oil needed topped up. Key fob needed new battery. Rear wiper blade needed replacing. Tyre pressures were incorrect
