Good morning,I have been regularly requesting an update regarding parts and availability for this vehicle without any firm detail.It is now approaching 3 weeks from the initial diagnosis and identification of a fault with the On Board Charging Unit.I have needed to make a phone call on each occasion in order to chase and request an update.Since then, Polestar announced the need to book in an upgrade of the main computer, which we have done to coincide with the repair to the OBCU, making to simpler for everyone.Following a phone call I made to the Service Dept on Friday for an update, a call back was promised later that afternoon with an update on part availability and an approximate lead time for the repair, but I am still waiting for that call.I have tried to call the service dept several times this morning, using the main line number and I immediately get the message "Sorry we've not been able to answer your call at this time, call again later or send an email" - hence this email.May I remind you that this vehicle is unable to charge using a standard AC charger.This means often making a separate journey just to get to a dedicated DC charger, the nearest being the BP Garage forecourt just outside Colchester, then often having to wait inline to charge the vehicle, as they are frequently in use.Whilst I understand the part in question is provided by a supplier overseas, I can not see why in today's digital manufacturing environment, I can not be given an actual date for the arrival of the parts and a firm date for fitting them?I am disappointed that I did not receive a call back when promised and frustrated that I am having to be the one to chase for information and updates!I have now asked if someone can please find out where the parts are and when the faulty parts can be replaced under warranty and call me to let me know.I am waiting for communication as I type this.

I submitted an enquiry via your website for a company lease for potentially 2 cars from Jan 2027. I had a prompt call from your office, and the person, who was very polite, said that he would get somebody to call me back to discuss my request further. But so far i have not heard anything.Maybe somebody will call me this time?

fabulous staff, very helpful and informative

I purchased an XC40 from the Chelmsford Branch last year. Then we moved house so the nearest Volvo Dealer was in Colchester. About a month ago I had a problem with the front sensor in the grill. I cleaned it thoroughly but it made no difference. I tried to get an appointment at Colchester but was told there was nothing for a few weeks. I was not happy with this level of service so called back to speak to a supervisor. They then gave me short call in appointment a few days in the future. This was better. The next day the fault cleared on the car so I cancelled the appointment. After looking on the Volvo Forum on line I see others had said they had experienced a similar fault in cold weather.I have since booked an annual service on 21st April 26. I have asked they install the proprietary Volvo front and rear dash cams during the service. I have tried three times to get a price out of them with no response.

I drove for 2 hrs to view a car that I had made an appt to see, but because I didn’t have the foresight to reserve it, it was being test driven when I arrived for my appt and was then promptly sold. So I had a 2hr wasted drive.

Curtis was very helpful with no hard sale tactics like other garages

Having found my dream car on auto trader, ( f-type jaguar, OV69SXM), I contacted the Volvo Colchester branch, I received a walk round video of the car, I questioned the headlights, one appeared to be not as bright as the other, the salesman sent more pictures and told me they were "definitely the same" and was probably just the pictures, on hearing this I was happy to purchase the carDuring our conversations the salesman said "I've just been to petrol station and put some fuel in for you" great I thought ??I then saw on the final invoice I had been charged for this !!!! £40, bit out of order ??Since the car was being delivered I was also told it would be transported by trailer ???The car was driven to my home address by a young man who took pleasure in telling me how fast the car was ??? The car was filthy and most importantly empty of fuel ???I did WhatsApp the salesman about this, but he has chosen not to replyThen after 2 days the engine management light came on, I was worried so I took it too a local independent jaguar specialist, who diagnosed a O2 sensor fault, this cost me a further £107 to diagnosis the fault, and check over the car, the dimmer head light was also mentionedIdeally I would like these issues addressed as I love the car....But I am considering rejecting the car under the distance selling lawI would appreciate your help on these issues
