James Payne was excellent. He was patient and explained the features of the car and whilst we came in to look at an XC40 we ended up test driving an XC60 as it was more suited to our needs.

I am a little disappointed with post sales response and that it would appear the vehicle may have a potential faulty support battery, which leaves me wondering if the main battery is also close to its end of life? The car is coming back to have the support battery replaced, I hope the primary batteries health can be confirmed.

James Payne was extremely knowledgeable on the car and services Volvo provide, he answered every question we had with ease, the only suggestion I have is I would like to know previous work/service that may of been carried out on the car although James has said Chelmsford would hold this information and for me to phone them, he said his not sure if they will tell me anything though as the stuff that has been done is just service stuff, I would also like a service book

Deal was almost lost by terrible service /attitude from volvo insurance who refused to give 5 day drive away insurance on car as price was >£50kabsolute joke and v rude …100% would not recommend them though contact at dealership Mike Needham was fantastic and saved the deal
