I was told that the front tyres needs replaced. I said that I was happy to go ahead even if I could do a better deal at KwikFit , but that I wanted the same tyres on the front as the back. When I came to pick it up - having taken three trains and had a long walk - I inspected the car and saw that the front tyres were Pirellis rather than matching Continentals. I explained to the receptionist who was a young woman. She checked and came back and said that they would change them, but I would have to come back as they did not have these tyres in stock. She wasn’t very friendly and there was no apology for my wasted journey nor an offer of a lift back. Since I had to get to a meeting, I ended up having to take a taxi at a cost of £20. When I came back a couple of days later, Angus was very apologetic and helpful. I always find him very professional and a pleasure to deal with.
