I was told that the front tyres needs replaced. I said that I was happy to go ahead even if I could do a better deal at KwikFit , but that I wanted the same tyres on the front as the back. When I came to pick it up - having taken three trains and had a long walk - I inspected the car and saw that the front tyres were Pirellis rather than matching Continentals. I explained to the receptionist who was a young woman. She checked and came back and said that they would change them, but I would have to come back as they did not have these tyres in stock. She wasn’t very friendly and there was no apology for my wasted journey nor an offer of a lift back. Since I had to get to a meeting, I ended up having to take a taxi at a cost of £20.When I came back a couple of days later, Angus was very apologetic and helpful. I always find him very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

We have been in a few showrooms recently, including other Lookers dealerships, and i can honestly say that we were treated better with Volvo than any other, and in some cases, by a considerable distance! Thanks you Bryan.

Good communication from Abbie who sold us the car, she would email and phone to keep us updated on the car delivery dates. Abbie also took time to explain the interior features of the car on the day we collected it.

I was sent a video link which lasted all of two seconds. What was very helpful was that I spoke to the person who actually did the work on my car. He showed me how to operate the retractable towbar I had had fitted, and was also very helpful in pointing out a problem in the fitting of an aluminium protective cover at the boot. This had been wrongly fitted by Volvo so I now have to put this right myself. Always worth letting the customer speak directly with the mechanic/ technician.

I thought the sales person Mr Derek Taylor provided an outstanding service. He even came in on his day off to demonstrate my new car to me which was above and beyond the call of duty. He provided an exemplary service in my view - very much deserving of a bonus and recognition
