Constant Lies about a repairI got a recall from lookers because there was a safety issue with my Volvo C30, I took it in on Friday the 12/09/25 at 10:30am like arranged, I was told it would be done by 5:30pm the same day, we're now on Tuesday the 16/09/25, 4 days late, I have just phoned & they said it will definitely be ready for 5pm today, told me they'd ring when it's done, the thing is I have to get the bus that takes me an hour to get there, so I'd have to be setting off now at 3:55pm in order for me to get there on time, I said I don't want to travel up there & you turned & round & say it isn't ready, if they phone me at 5pm I won't be able to make it on time either, so I'm stuck again, it's going to be another day without my car, so 7 hours has turned so far in to 4 days & more than likely 5 days now, I was told I'd have to pay towards a courtesy car! Sorry its your fault my car has a safety issue not mine so you should provide me with one, also my car could've been picked up from my home & dropped back off, I was never told this, they said conveniently that they had no driver when I asked today, yesterday the person whose supposed to keep me updated left half day yesterday & never called me with an update before she left, rude, when I rang yesterday I had to explain it all to somebody else, I want compensating for this, a complete joke! Yesterday on Monday, they said they were waiting for a part to arrive at 3pm, sorry but it's been booked in for weeks & you knew exactly what needed to be done then you don't get the parts in on time! I have really bad anxiety I really struggle leaving the house, but I had to walk round Stockport on my own for 7 hrs while I waited just for them to tell me it won't be ready, then get on the bus home for an hour, I'm fuming & I am definitely taking this further, I'll be getting legal advice, absolutely rubbish the lot of them & no empathy just filling me with lies to get me off the phone, one of the worst places I've ever dealt with, once I get another car I won't even look at Volvo anymore I'll never entertaining having another!
