I would just like to after all of the staff at Volvo Stockport exceptional and very helpful but I have to make a special mention to Matt Basterfield ... He explain everything in so much detail, myself and my wife were both amazed how good he was and I have to say One of the best car sales gentleman we have ever come across garageKeep up the great work

I did have problems getting a refund on the holding deposit tha I left, this was eventually sorted very quickly, pleasantly and efficiently by Leanne.

Yes, the car had a rear passenger repairable puncture, she rang me and asked if I would like the garage to repair it for £20. I said yes then she said they haven't got time, probably because it was a Saturday. I was surprised they couldn't quickly do it, this has caused me more time to get off work to go and get this repaired else where.Also tried to book a hire car but wasn't possible. I have the Volvo service plan which got sold to me and I thought things like this would be ok to book as promised

The experience with Lookers Stockport from initial enquiry to final vehicle handover was simply the best I have ever received from a dealership in the whole time I have been buying cars. This for me is down to the sales executive I have had the greatest of pleasure of dealing with over the past 4 years, Mr David Eaton. I have simply run out of superlatives of how to describe him and how he treats me as a customer. The following narrative is by no means exhaustive but the stand out moments of my recent experience with David. David was very welcoming, jovial and professional from the initial outset and treated my wife and I with dignity and respect. During the whole process we really felt we treated as individual customers and made to feel special. David understood our needs and requirements, explaining everything from finance options, part exchange, the buying process and delivery timelines, vehicle options, insurance products and servicing options but to name a few. He would offer his advice, knowledge and experience when asked and always in terms which we understood. His communication skills are second to none and he regularly sent me updates either by telephone and/or email regarding as to where the vehicle was during the ordering, manufacturing and delivery process.A couple of areas for improvement I feel I need to mention are as follows but I would strenuously state that this is no fault whatsoever down to David Eaton but to Volvo itself and I would not want this to reflect on himFirstly when placing my order I specified some additional options and at no time when the order was placed and subsequently in the time following was I informed that these options were not available due to the global semiconductor shortage (which I fully understand). It was only when the car was delivered to the showroom that I was informedSecondly the timeline I was given for completion was late September, which then changed to November, then December and finally January when it was delivered. As I have stated I was kept fully informed of these changes but just found it disappointing In the large variance of timeline.In my opinion David Eaton is a positive role model and shining star for Lookers Stockport and Volvo as a company. He is straight out of the top drawer and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I am a very highly satisfied customer.

I bought a volvo V90 CC D4. Detail in the vehicles description where wrong. Website stated Car had Volvo Connect, this was not available on the model I purchased! Also it stated that the Car had active bending headlights again not on this model, dealership serviced Car prior to hand over but haven't stamped the service book to reflect this so now it is missing some history. On a positive side David Eaton (Manchester) was very good to deal with. I spent a lot of money with Lookers and I urge you to check details prior to advert. I have a week left to decide whether to return Car as not totally satisfied.
