We purchased a Skoda Kodiaq on Friday 24 October. We decided what we wanted ahead of time, and after a test drive and viewing decided to purchase on the same day. In addition, we purchased an extended warranty and minor damage insurance. We sold our previous car part exchange on the day and did the exchange online with us getting confirmation of the sale within minutes. As the sale was completed shortly before the sales office was closing, we presented with a receipt and were assured that we would get the necessary documents soon afterwards. After visiting the post office to arrange tax and calling our insurers to arrange insurance we drove off.2 weeks later, despite a number of calls to the sales person (Jacob) we are yet to receive anything. Had the sale been registered with DVLA on line, we would have received e-mail notification instantaneously. As we have not received anything I can only conclude that the sale has not been registered and that we are still not formally owners of the car. I had to call one of Jacob's colleagues (Jason) to obtain documentation covering the minor damage insurance but nothing to confirm that we have an extended warranty.Clearly this is a highly unsatisfactory situation that Jacob appears to be in no hurry to resolve given that he has not responded to phone messages or emails. Please can you assist in resolving this.

Thank you for your reply. It was Lookers Skoda in Peasmarsh, Guildford. My registration number is W16 VRS. Please ensure that John Dunne does not make contact with me, as I do not wish to have anything to do with him, thank you.Good morning,I have taken a few days before contacting you, as I am so angry and upset at the way one of the Service Advisors treated me when I brought my Skoda in for a service last weekend. My husband and I brought MY car in for service, and John Dunne greeted my husband and ignored my presence. I assumed he was just busy and a bit rude, so let it go. He then proceeded to continue jovial chatting with my husband (my husband was trying to include me in the conversation), yet John ignored me again. I went to sit down at a table away from him, as I was beginning to feel rather upset and didn't want him to see me like that. My husband joined me and could see that I was upset. When my car was finished, my husband and I walked up to John to collect the keys. He ignored me again and said to my husband "follow me sir", like I wasn't even there. Please remember that I am the customer, it is my car, not my husband's! When John walked us to my car, he unlocked it, took the protective wrapping off of the steering wheel and said to my husband "we don't normally bother with this, it's just because you know Greg!" Massively unprofessional of him to say that to a customer! He then handed my keys to my husband, shook his hand, said "nice to see you sir, drive safely" and walked off, without speaking to me.I am not invisible. I was the customer. I was stood WITH my husband. Yet that rude cretin of a man felt it was acceptable to ignore me and only speak to my husband. I was so upset and angry, that feeling stayed with me and totally ruined my day. Obviously I won't be returning to you, as I've never been treated so despicably before, but that man needs to be made aware that he should treat ALL customers equally and not to ignore someone. I literally cannot believe the audacity of him!I was advised to let you know via this email address, so now that I've calmed down, I've done just that. The Technician who serviced my car was very polite and I have no complaints about him at all.Regards,H Wilson.

Hallo Jacob,I think that I should have bumpf on the manufactures guarantees regarding myrecent purchase? Car going very well.Best wishes,Owen________________________________________

Waited over an hour to be spoken to by anyone. Given a key to look around a car, and was told by the salesman that he’d be back in 20 minutes. 40 minutes later and he still hadn’t returned, so dropped the key back in and went home. Sent an email which I received no reply to. I really don’t understand how these guys sell anything at all!

On first meeting excellent and this poor

I hope this email finds you well.I have bought a vehicle from Lookers Guildford dealership (Astolat Way, GU3 1NE) in May 2023. Reg LC23NMK.This vehicle was mis sold to me and as part of compensation some servicing was offered, which i accepted at the time. This also included air con regas at 2 years old.I have booked and had this appointment with the servicing team at the Lookers Guildford dealership (Astolat Way, GU3 1NE) on the 21st May 2025 at 10am.My car then needed another service and due to extremely poor service I have been receiving at your dealership, i went elsewhere. Service completed by another Authorized Skoda Service Partner, who discovered that the Aircon low pressure fill valve cap missing was missing and recommended replacement to stop contamination of valve and potentially damage to aircon system. They quoted £148.50 to fix this.I was shocked to hear and read this (evidence in video and pdf formats attached).I am disappointed (again) and inconvenienced (again). I expect this complaint to be dealt with promptly. At this stage my confidence in your dealership and servicing is completely lost, I am saddened by my perceived incompetence at every level and around every corner. I expect this to be rectified and ideally by another Authorized Skoda Service Partner of my choosing at no cost to me.I also request you consider transferring all items promised to my by Adrian Poole: "Please accept this email to confirm our Sales Department will cover the following First MOT (worth £54.85, due on year 3), First Brake fluid change worth £85 (Due at 3 years old) and air con regas £149 (due at 2 years old). The work must be carried out here at Skoda Guildford and this email must be presented to our Service Team" of which all of the items remain, to another Authorized Skoda Service Partner pf my choosing.I am eagerly waiting for your response, explanation, apology and granting my requests as above.Regards,

After a test drive, the sales executive undertook to search available stock for one in my desired specification and, if there was none suitable, provide a quote for a factory order. I heard nothing and when I followed up by email the response was to send me terms of business.

I need to book an MOT, but when I ring on one of the numbers I have, I get cut off, and I get no reply from the other number.MY MOT IS DUE EARLY NOVEMBER.Please call me back to arrange this at your earliest convenience. This is the second time I have completed this form. Thanks

To elaborate on my review here are some pictures of what I was mentioning.1/ report/bill from lookers Guildford saying there is no update to do and need to pay for an investigation (when initially the call center had mentionned there was an update to do and recall and that is why they booked the car in)2/ a screenshot of the computer at another garage that says the recall/update is necessaryThe other garage has not only do the recall update but also looked at all the errors and investigated for free to make sure the errors showing were non urgent...
