Not sure you could have done more, but the car I was after just doesn't have the spec I needed within my budget.

Although communication with Lookers was excellent on both sides we had a problem with sending and receiving e-mails. Those sent from Lookers invariably failed to arrived and my own e-mails sent to the company also never appeared to get through. Having discussed this with the Lookers team we wonder whether it was the fact that I have my own domain name (hldgateway.net) that was the cause of the problem. This needs to be investigated as it made life difficult for both Lookers own staff and myself.

You washed the car but missed half the passenger door and the part of the tailgate may have been as it was dark

I got to the dealership at 9.30am and wasn't told until 11/11.30am that the car needed 2 new rear tyres. I gave the go-ahead immediately, but then it took until 1.15pm until (after asking service reception) I found out that the car was ready to drive away. It wasn't cleaned, which would have been nice. There were a few gaps in communication along the way, especially given I was sitting in the dealership for all that time. It felt a bit slow for a check up and new tyres to be fitted as a 'while you wait' service.

The team were very helpful and explained what needed to be done on the car and the service interval items eg brake fluid change. The health check video was very good and provided a view of the condition of each item. I’m very pleased with the service and experience with Lookers Skoda.

There seems to be a disconnect between the booking team and garage. 2 points I asked to be checked weren't flagged on the service and therefore were not looker at
