I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Luke Hounslow at Skoda Newcastle. My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Luke, and his assistance was instrumental in our decision to purchase not one, but two brand new cars.Initially, we visited Skoda Newcastle with the intention of buying a single vehicle. However, Luke's outstanding service and expertise made such a positive impression that we returned the following week, specifically requesting to deal with him again. His professionalism, patience, and genuine desire to help us find the perfect cars were truly remarkable.Luke's in-depth knowledge of the Skoda range, combined with his ability to understand our needs and preferences, made the entire car-buying process smooth and enjoyable. He went above and beyond to answer all our questions, provide valuable advice, and ensure we were completely satisfied with our purchases. Thanks to Luke, we are now proud owners of two fantastic Skoda vehicles. We highly recommend Luke Hounslow to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated car salesperson. His commitment to customer satisfaction is truly commendable.

I had my ŠKODA Fabia serviced on the 24th March at your Newcastle ŠKODA branch.I got an email telling me that my rear tyres have pressure cracks in them but this went into my junk mail so I didn’t see it. At no point did any of your staff come and speak to me about this to see if I would like the tyres replaced.Safety is of utmost importance to me, especially as I have a 10 month old who is often in the car with me.I’m also unimpressed that after only 18 months and 13,000 miles, my tyres have pressure cracks. My dad regularly checks my tyre pressures for me, and the pressure warning has only come on my car once when i immediately got my dad to check my tyre pressures.I’ve been a ŠKODA customer for 10 years now but I can’t say this has filled me with confidence to continue being a loyal customer.

Was treated very well but prices weren't competitive enough.

Catastrophic. Please could you phone me,ThanksMartin Soar

I have recently booked a service for my Skoda Kamiq using the Skoda national website. On the website I was quoted a price of £108.54 for an oil service change (£151.86 including pollen filter) and £180.48 for rear brake discs and pads. The confirmed booking says that the service cost is £281.19 and the brake discs and pads £350. This is a considerable difference and I would like to know why the prices quoted online are so out of line with the actual. It is very misleading. If given the option of an online booking price, then this price should be correct.

Sales representative was rude, didn’t fully read emails a wasn’t patient with older customer.Sad as we they purchased a car via a third party which comes direct from Skoda.Initial comms were good and visit to garage was good, just after that. The rude email (due to the salesman lack of reading the full email) back raised concerns of what the customer service would be like if you purchased from you and anything went wrong.

I was helped by Neil Cowie (?) who was most helpful.

On 18th February I wrote:Dear Lookers Skoda,I am writing with reference to the emails sent to me by you on 17/02/2026. Your email would suggest that my vehicle (Skoda Karoq KP74SYV, first registered 17/09/2024) is due for service. Sadly, this would suggest that the details you hold on my vehicle are not accurate. When I bought the vehicle from your company on 04/07/2025 I was informed that service details were no longer recorded in a book held by the owner for security reasons. I was told that service details were held centrally by Skoda on their computer. On the first anniversary of the vehicle’s first registration, I booked the car into my local Skoda dealer’s workshop for it’s annual service, confident that the details would be recorded by Skoda. I am surprised, therefore, to receive your email, which suggests that a service is now due. I am interested to learn how it can be that a low mileage vehicle that is 17 months old and was serviced 5 months ago should be due a service.Perhaps you might suggest that there has been an administrative error! If an administrative error can occur at your garage, could errors occur in your workshop, with potentially dangerous results? Perhaps you will suggest that Pulman Skoda could have failed to register the service with the Skoda company data. Whatever the reason for your suggestion that my vehicle is due a service, I would be grateful if you could correct the details you hold.I have could attach a pdf file to show details of my purchase, a page from the V5C and the Pulman Skoda invoice but this system does not allow such actions.Sincerely,Peter RobertsonToday I have received another reminder. Please correct your data.
