Very easy booking my vehicle in. James, from the Service department got in touch to clarify what was needed for my vehicle. This resulted in the day been changed as the parts were unavailable for the original date booked. This saved me a wasted journey. Extremely happy with the whole process and the excellent customer service throughout.

On a purely non customer service facet of Škoda’s servicing process, my visit this time heralded the same disappointment as the previous visit, in that, it takes 2 days to get parts. Why 2 days? Shouldn’t parts be couriered the next day? In the years prior to changing over to Škoda, VW spares were often delivered the same evening or the next morning, Never took 2 days. Is there a constant Škoda stock problem in the U.K.?

I am very pleased with the service I have received. But let me explain a little more. I am almost 80 and have been driving a basic 13 year old car for the last 6 years with no gizmos. e.g. physical handbrake, no search maps, everything in its traditional place etc. This new Skoda is like a space machine. The handbook is impenetrable. So I needed to come back to the dealership for a further tutorial on the really important devices which was very gladly given.
