Smooth, informative, helpful

Good Afternoon,I bought this car from you 4 weeks ago, I just wanted to ask about the umbrella which should be in the driver,s door.I am pleased with the car otherwise, it just seems strange there's no umbrella as my Enyaq has one.Kind Regards

car went in on 24th April and vehicle still in the garage with no clear indication of when he will have it back and now just getting fed up. additionally has been provided a courtesy vehicle via Skoda Assist which has now broken down and had to get AA to attend.

On the 26/2/26 I purchased a Skoda Kodiaq. The sales process was handled by Itsham and the process went ok. There were no vehicle mats in the skoda. I was assured that the vehicle mats came with the Skoda and they would send those to me at my home address.I emailed Looker (Itsham) on 23/2/26 asking when I would get the well mats and received a response on 24/2/26 saying he would look into it and get back to meA second email was sent 2/4/26 - no response receivedA 3rd email was sent 20/4/26 - no response receivedA 4th email was sent 22/4/26 stating that I would make a complaint if I did not get a response. This elicited a vague response similar to the response I got on the 2/4/26. I emailed back on the same day saying I would like specific information on when I would get the mats.As of 27/4/26 I have not received any further updates or communications.8 weeks later and I still do not have any idea what the hold up is or when I will receive the mats as promised.I would like this issue resolved and the mats delivered to me at my home address as promised.

I contact Lookers Stockport over 5 times this winter via various methods to purchase my new skoda. But I wasn't until earlier this week once I had started to negotiate with skoda in Huddersfield that I got a response.

Car we had an appointment to view and test drive was not in the condition described in the advert and had not been properly cleaned. Staff were initially pleasant and welcoming, but then became quite confrontational and rude when negotiating a potential sale price. This also included a member of staff speaking down to female customer in a patronising and dismissive manner. Would not recommend this branch to others and will not consider purchasing a car from a lookers dealership in the future.

Absolutely horrendous experience. Went to the dealership about two months ago to look at availability. No one came to provide assistance so I just walked around and had a look. Recently had a look online and went to the dealership, and had a similar experience. Walked in and there were two salesman sitting by the doors having a chat. There was no acknowledgment whatsoever. Walked further into the showroom and others sales assistants were busy. I spoke to one gentleman who said he was in parts but went to get one of the salesman who was sat by the door. Spoke to the salesman briefly, who wasn’t particularly informative about EV cars. The one I wanted to see had been taken for some work to be done. I was informed it would be back in a few days. A couple of days later a manager phoned me to say the car was due to be back in the showroom and I could test drive it. He also advised me to reserve it. I later reserved it through the Skoda website. I booked a test drive and afterwards sat in the showroom to discuss finances. The assistant repeatedly had to go to the back office to discuss with the manager. The deal offered had been priced about £500 above the price advertised on Lookers and Skoda. I raised this and after some back and forth to the manager in the office, the assistant confirmed the website price was correct. I was offered a series of additional warranties which I did not want or need but the assistant kept pushing and negotiating these deals. I asked how much monthly PCP payments would be without the warranties but they kept pushing. I checked on the Skoda website and lookers but there were discrepancies between them and asked exactly how much it would be. I was told it would be what the website said. By now I was in a rush as I had other plans and needed to leave. I said I had the car reserved so would be back the next day. As I was leaving, the sales assistant and the manager called me over in the car park and said that as I had viewed the car now, the reservation was no longer valid. I checked the email confirmation for my reservation and it stated I had reserved it for 5 days. There was no mention of it only being valid until a viewing. They were saying that they do not receive the £99 from Skoda, but I’m not sure why that is relevant to a customer. I stated the email said the car was reserved for 5 days but I had not checked all terms and conditions so I would take their word for it. They said they would make the car available for sale to which I replied they could do that if they wanted. They continued to explain they don’t receive the £99 from Skoda, and that the looker’s reservation is different from Skoda. I pointed out they have Skoda branding so I’m not sure why they don’t adhere to Skoda terms. Either way I said I’d take their word for it and they could make the car available to others if they chose to do so. The whole experience at Lookers was incredibly poor. The staff were unhelpful and not particularly informative at all. I chose to buy a car with very similar specifications from another Skoda dealership

I brought my car in for a service and also some maintenance work was required a few days later. At every point of contact with the Lookers personnel, the service I received was professional and courteous. I was informed of timescales for the work required, and the car got a good clean as well. A particular mention for Andy in the service department. This is a fine example of how service should be delivered.

Tried to book a test drive for a Saturday. Initially booked in and was then told that couldn't do it on a Saturday as I was looking for a personal lease. Told it had to be a weekday. I responded and said that would involve taking a day off work. Not sure where it got left after that.
