I’m genuinely surprised by this survey. After taking a test drive with my family, I was ready to purchase the new Skoda ELRoq - an excellent European product that truly impressed us. I left my details, asked for a final quote, and requested to proceed with the contract. Unfortunately, no one ever followed up.I even reached out to Skoda Lookers directly online, but after several emails, I still received no reply. Meanwhile, BYD immediately found time for me, offered great conditions, and stayed in touch throughout the process. It’s truly disappointing, I wanted to buy European, but apparently, only some brands still understand what customer care means.

Appreciated being left to browse the showroom until we were ready to approach/engage with the Sales team. Kacper was helpful and talked us through various options/differences between model specs. He priced up a new Kodiaq 2.0TSI Sportline which they had in stock, which was reduced to a figure of ~£450pcm if we put an extra £500 cash in, after agreeing with his Sales Manager. They advised that as it was the end of the month, the price would go up on 1st October but we were unable to get to the garage before then to test drive it. They said we could pay a deposit to secure the deal. When we called the next day to do this, the monthly price had changed to ~£470. The sales manager said we must have been misquoted, perhaps without the additional protection products on. We decided to walk away from the deal as a result and cancelled the test drive.

I bought my car online for the 1st time as I have bought my 3rd car from lookers this was my 4th but 1st time buying online however when my car was delivered to me it was not the lookers standard that i expected. I had to get a call out for someone to remove the dog hairs & clean the car to a good standard. However I did reach out to the dealership & they did reimburse me for the valeting cost. I am very disappointed in how lookers have failed & the whole experience of a new car was shattered.

re KS24 NSEStockport Lookers GarageCar currently under warranty. We called the Skoda Assist team last night who had to attend our car at home because, despite the main battery being fully charged, the 12V battery was dead. The 12V battery has recurrently, for some weeks, been saying that battery protection mode is enabled despite the main EV battery being adequately charged. When someone sits in the car in drive mode for an hour, the 12V battery will charge slowly from the main battery but does not appear to charge at all when connected to the charger. There have been no warning lights on the instrument cluster to indicate any fault with the battery at any point during this period. Once the skoda assist had recharged the 12V battery, the instrument cluster was completely blank (so we would, for example, be unable to tell what speed we were going - I believe it is illegal to drive without a functioning speedometer). The skoda assist workman at the time said that as the car was under warranty and had stopped working we should take it directly to our skoda garage to ensure that the safety issues leading to this problem were rectified.I have today spoken to the service booking team to attempt to book the car in for a diagnostic assessment to resolve the issue which is clearly a problem that is not going to go away. The booking person told me that the car also requires a software update (the car has not been recalled for this) which might actually resolve the issue (the update is to do with instability of charging). Unfortunately it appears the earliest appointment I can make is 14 November - this is 6 weeks from now. In the meantime, this car, which is under warranty, where there is a known issue with software which may be contributing to the fact the 12V battery is not charging properly, is liable to stop working again. This means I cannot reliably know if I can take my child to school when I go to bed at night and means that I cannot reliably expect I can turn the car on and drive immediately without needing to call the skoda assist again.I believe that a 6 week wait for this issue to be resolved, for a car under warranty, where there is a known software issue is unacceptable and would be obliged if this could be resolved.

Very disappointed with the service I received from Lookers while purchasing my Skoda Kodiaq, I have just purchased another 25 plate Skoda Kodiaq from RRG at Bolton they were fantastic what a difference in the service I received.

I have been trying to organise a software update since July. Despite making my requirements for a hire vehicle known at the time of booking, when I arrived with my children to drop off my vehicle in August and collect the replacement it was unsuitable being too small. I was told the car I’d booked was in Wales and there was no other available! I had to rebook the appointment for the end of September. Calling in today to check the appointment time, I was told I had no appointment and could only rebook another month in advance. When I said that was unacceptable and want an alternative, with a call back to discuss options; I just received a new booking email for 4th November and no call back. Calling in again at 5:30, I asked to resolve the issue and was promised a call back before 6pm. No call came and I’m still awaiting a response. Given this is a known software issue with the vehicle and I have been trying to have it fixed for months, this lack of contact, poor customer service and general lack of care is unacceptable. I would like an appointment asap with a suitable replacement vehicle (like for like as originally promised). I also cannot believe that you are happy to sell a brand new vehicle to a customer without any reference to this issue and when asked about it just to get a line about all new cars have issues. Not even an acknowledgment of the issue or an apology? I look forward to someone calling me asap to resolve the issue and get me a fully working car.
