Our first time here and it took 58 minutes to get our food.

We have been to Lulu’s multiple times. This experience wasn’t the usual good one. It started off poorly by waiting to be seated. Computer issues and I believe others kept gettingSeated ahead of us. Next we were seated outside even though there was a Severe thunderstorm. There were plenty of tables inside and I asked twice to two people to sit there. No but our person seated us did move us from one picnic table to the other and then we got accused multiple times of moving. We did move to where we were told . We had an 83 year old with us who didn’t need to be at a picnic table and getting wet from the storm. I told our group ahead of time not to do LuLus on such a busy weekend, but they didn’t listen. But we arrived before 5 and there wasn’t much of a wait- but that didn’t pan out either. They sure wish they had after the horrible experience we had. Our food was good after we finally got it. We may be back, but please train the staff to have some urgency about their job and empathy for the elderly and to listen to the customer. Our waiter was Tucker and it wasn’t his fault about this process, but to the young African girl that started the whole mix up about seating- if she would have listened to us the first time - I asked to sit inside- a lot of aggravation could have been avoided .. I was told if it starts to rain asked to be moved. Look that’s what I was asking to begin with. You can move waiters around but instead you asked an 83 year old lady to move picnic tables - Shame on you - what if that was your mother or grandmother! If I had the owners contact info I’d tell them directly. Maybe social media pages for the area would be a good place for me to tell the story. My husband likes this place so we may be back, but I hope he forgets about it.

The wait was long but expected. The service was mediocre as it seems the server had way too many tables to tend to in order to give us proper service. The food was absolutely disgusting. My “jerk chicken” was just grilled chicken with honey mustard sauce on the side… Not to mention all of our food was cold. Absolutely gross but there was no point in complaining because that would just result in another 45 min ordeal after already being there for 3+ hours. Extremely disappointed in our experience.

The food wasn’t very good. We got grilled chicken tenders, blackened chicken tenders, a chicken quesadilla and the chips with salsa and queso. None of it was very flavorful. The French fries were nice and crispy but other than those, we left unimpressed with the rest of the food.

Good food and friendly service!!

We were a group of 8 adults and 6 children seated at 2 adjacent picnic tables next to the “beach “. The skies began to darken and the wind picked up with awful lightening and thunder. I asked about moving inside and we were told they had shades. I mentioned we had a few people, mostly children terrified of storms having gone through hurricanes. Once the sand started blowing at us everyone ran inside. Shades were put down except our two which were stuck. We all stood around four empty tables by the band. We asked to sit there and were told no since it was a different waiter and the drink order was already taken. Our shades finally were put down but the noise of the rain, wind and “lightening show” upset everyone. Drink orders had to be resent to the bar and it took a long time to get them. Food was fine but we were very anxious to get out of there. Look at the weather report for this evening and it was a horrible storm.

Actually the service and wait times were terrible!! The only saving grace was the manager that came up from Alabama and the hostess!!! They resolved an issue very professionally!! And also the CEO!! They were awesome!! I know the entire place was overwhelmed and under staffed but you need to step up!! We will go back!!
