What happened to the outdoor group activity transportation opportunities? (i.e. casino, parks, shopping, dining out, beach).Low staffing ratios on the assisted living sectionMore training for new staff on deescalation techniques. This goes for both new hires (“I don’t know what to do, it’s my first day” is not acceptable) and seasoned staff. Even outside of memory care, the living situation is assisted - yes, certain residents can be difficult but there should be other solutions aside from giving up and not assisting them with tasks (ie: laundry, cleaning, changing clothes, hygiene). This is especially frustrating for family to deal with over the phone or in person when the care is being paid for. It begs the question “what am I then paying for care wise?”

Food quality / Specials menu has gone downhill. Other than that we love it.

My wife and myself appreciate all things you offer. We just wish we had time to do each one. We thank you for all of your endeavors.

I understand that memory care is difficult, I notice too many care givers that appear not to have the skill set required to manage the residence. Not sure of what training is provided and policies reviewed to take on such a responsibility.

Knowledgeable and kind staff

I feel that the meals could be better and more balanced than what they are and sometimes the members are trying to eat meat that is too hard for them to eat it’s over cooked so I really feel that the kitchen help could be a lot better than what it is.

All staff members were great. I do not have the words to express my gratitude for everything and all the help they have given me to take care of my cousin. I would highly recommend Manteca Assistant Living to other family and friends.

The biggest complaint I hear is that the meals take too long from the time they arrive at table to when the food is served to them. Care has been excellent. Communication is great.
