The team at M&R was thorough and professional. Rick spent over an hour educating us on the process and even provided guidance on tax and other legal considerations. Shelley and Cindy further walked us through the preparation of our house for rental and were able to find great tenants for us. We feel confident that our home is in good hands with the team and that the renters will get great service too. The value the team brings to renting our home is high.

I had an urgent need to get a copy of my lease agreement, Cindy responded to the request immediately and Karen was able to send me the document within a few hours! However, the reason I'm giving a 4 star and not a 5 star is because this type of information should've been sent when the agreement was first signed. If I had it in the first place, then I wouldn't have to do the urgent request. Nevertheless, the effort and quick turnaround are still appreciated!

M&R property management is a stellar company that takes care to maintain their properties, communicate with tenants about regular maintenance such as roofing, etc. Whenever something has needed to be repaired in my apartment, they respond almost immediately and someone comes to make the repairs as soon as possible. Cindy is fantastic as are the other employees in the office. The roofers did a great job with the roof and also the downspouts. They should have told us to do more than move our cars. I had no idea they would need to be on the deck and crossing over the overhangs above the carport, jumping over the deck railings, and back and forth. I would have moved my plants and other items aside so they wouldn't be in the way. After the first day, I noticed small pieces of the roof in my plants. I moved them out of the way when I realized this was happening. That wasn't a big deal but what was, is a light fixture that fell from the ceiling and smashed to pieces, a dining room over head light fixture that shook and came loose so that it's not secure anymore, and the bedroom overhead light fixture has a large crack in it now. All of these things could have been prevented had the roofing company told us that these things could happen. I would have removed all the fixtures and lightbulbs. Again, not a huge deal as these things are easily replaceable, but I work at home and the light could easily have fallen on me. They left scuff marks on the deck railings and some of the wood seems slightly damaged (only if you look carefully but still) which is unfortunate because the building was so recently painted. My assessment of the roofing company is that they do a great job on the roof but they failed to communicate exactly what we needed to do to prevent damage and the fact that they would be climbing onto our decks. I would certainly have covered the railings with a tarp to protect them. Thank you for reading this and please know that I hold M&R property management in very high regard.
