No one was in the office even after waiting for 15 minutes. Therefore we had to finish the process online and go buy our own lock. Once we returned to move in, we found the storage unit given to us to already be occupied. As college students, we had nowhere to put our stuff and had to leave it in uhaul overnight where we had to rent a new uhaul and move our stuff back in at Cubesmart. At this point I was on a plane back home so my friend had to handle all of this by himself. All of this could’ve been avoided if someone was at the office during the posted hours.

My experience has been very frustrating. First, the 8x10 unit I rented is essentially a triangle, not a rectangle as advertised online. Second, I did the online reservation and check in system. When I arrived at the facility at 8 AM on the day of my move in, rather than a safety seal and a welcome kit, there was already a lock on my unit. Since no one was at the facility and it didn’t have a pre-9:30 AM helpline, on a week day no less, I had to call the corporate number and get a random representative to help me, and he had to try multiple combinations until we found one that worked based on the lock. It took 30 minutes of time, during which I had movers being paid by the hour who were being paid by me to stand around and wait for me to resolve a problem that Cube Smart caused.
