It took 5 requests to have the door stop slamming but it still doesn’t latch shut.

Paying $15 AND a $3.95 service fee?Not cool, people will be less likely to pay/call for maintenance immediately, and may hope an accumulated bill would be less ‘service fees’. They would be wrong, 2 separate bills.

Our building has been unsecured for more than a month and the outside door near our apartment slams ridiculously loudly. My work orders for the slamming door are repeatedly marked as completed when nothing is done to the door. Additionally no one has bothered to discuss this with us. I was told over a month ago that they are waiting on parts. How long does that take?

Almost daily, we discover a ”Pleasant Surprise”. Much of it has had to do with the convenience of apartment living, or the closeness of our favorite stores and businesses in Surprise. The only ”I wish we had…” we have had so far is the kind of blinds we had in our previous home: they can be raised and lowered from the bottom as well as from the top. Here on the second floor, we need them on for privacy on the bottom and want them off for light and the view of the mountains and the sky on the top. But I guess we’ll get used to our view of the carport roofs, as time passes by.

Current management seems much more competent than previous management. Better communication with tenants is the best example. Several previous experiences were frustrating and negative for us. Best example is last year for our renewal, Chris was manager and we agreed to renew if he could find us a less expensive apt that could accommodate my husband's medical issues, such as safety bars in bathrooms, removal of shower door, and others which were verbally agreed to. Nothing had been done to the apt when we were due to move in and it caused a lot of frustration and confusion. Also, exterior windows have never been cleaned since we moved here in 2022. We enjoy the tenants here and the sense of community.

We had more than one request. Some got done, some didn’t . . . It would be helpful to have a form to give to the renters that shows all the requests, which were completed , and an approx date for the requests not completed. The maintenance men are doing an excellent job .
