I'm very satisfied with Mera living. Only complaint is when maintenance requests are submitted to maybe have a time frame of 72 hours to complete or notice if unable to complete timely due to so.e unforseen emergency

The follow up from Management regarding issues is very poor. I had an Emergency situation 9 weeks ago . I am aware of changes in staff may have been an issue. I spoke to Francine 3 weeks ago regarding the door damage and an insecure lock on my door. She said she would check on it when she got back to the office and would advise me on the status of the replacement door. I have had no follow up from her. The car parking availability on Friday, Sat and sometimes on Sunday when I return from work 2345 app is 0. I should not have to pay extra for parking to secure a space. Ther is a car now parked with it covered. I guess it is there for the long term.?! I should not have to park on the street to be near an entrance door. The security is also an issue. I came in the door beside the Maintenance and the lock had blue tape on it so it would not lock. I removed the tape. I have found stones in the lock to prevent the door from locking. Lack of handicapped spaces is also an issue for lots of residents.

I was able to find a nice townhome, which is 400 square foot larger, over $500 dollars cheaper and with a two car attached garage. That you dont have to pay for.

Phone reception is terrible here.The employee turnover affects all of us as residence. I was told by one of the residents that’s been here since Mira Goodyear opened that there have been eight different managers. I’ve been here nearly 2 years and there have been three managers.I have been waiting six months for a part to the refrigerator that was ordered for me have checked on it several times and I still don’t have it.I wish the entrance doorway would be replaced.. The door is extremely heavy and when you’re trying to bring your walker and yourself while still holding the heavy, Door is extremely hard.. I have received several bruises on my arm when the door comes down on my arm while guiding my walker into the lobby.Overall, though I do love how all the residents look out for each other. Most of the residents are friendly and caring and interact with different activities. I love helping out with a lot of the activities. I love staying over and helping out in the bistro after one of our luncheons. I love hosting good vibes on the first Friday of the month and hosting casino night on the third Friday of the month. As of this year, I have also taken up, hosting our monthly potluck.I enjoy staying active.

I moved here because my children live so close. However, the cost of rent is high. I knew when I moved in the freeway was close, but I know I can get a place not on the freeway for less or the same money.

why in the world would you put drawer - less cabinets in the bathroom.I'm going to tell Samsung they should stick to cell phones and tvs.and not Major Appliances, i.e., refrigerator, washer, dryer.The washing machine is way too big - too deep to reach into. I would think the majority of your residents aren't washing clothes for a family of five - probably just one or two.The dryer is too hard to reach inside to retrieve the clothes - and the filter - is a joke.
