While planned community events are appreciated, they don’t accommodate all residents. Many of us still work full time, and event types, dates, and times often make it difficult or impossible to attend.Maintenance and upkeep have been a long-standing concern. Residents routinely report simple issues that take months—sometimes years—to resolve, if they’re addressed at all. Regular weekly walkthroughs of every building, floor, and the surrounding grounds could help identify and correct these issues before they deteriorate further. For example, the main entrance and lobby of Building 3 took nearly a year and a half to repair and repaint. Even leftover drilling dust and wall marks from the activity board installation sat untouched for months, and then the painters left paint drips and splatter that took weeks to clean. The entry door still slams shut, despite repeated requests to adjust, and remains scratched and unprotected by a kick plate like the one at the activity center. At one point, there was even a piece of sharp metal protruding from the exit bar that took months to remove after it snagged or cut residents, and the piece that was eventually removed has not been replaced. It seems disproportionate attention is given to maintaining the activity center’s appearance compared to the residential buildings. A kick-plate on every door is an absolute must, but are only installed on the activities center. When moving into my current apartment, the condition was unacceptable for a new tenant. While the carpets had been cleaned, they clearly needed replacement after multiple tenants with pets—every guest has commented on a persistent cat odor. The rest of the unit was poorly maintained: unclean stainless steel surfaces, calcium buildup in the showers, scuffed flooring, burnt-out bulbs, unrepaired wall holes, and missing fixtures. Despite raising these concerns immediately, move-in was delayed for last-minute patching and cleaning that still left the apartment looking substandard. We would not have accepted the apartment in its condition; however, we were on a tight moving timeline with reserved airline tickets that could not be changed without significant cost.Follow-up maintenance was disorganized at best—filters were dropped off but not replaced, and we had to request basic items like bulbs and a towel rack installation for a missing towel rack. We continue to experience unresolved issues, including problems with the ventilation system that we were told “cannot be fixed.”The package locker system, which is otherwise a great amenity, has also become unreliable. Since July, we have stopped receiving access codes for deliveries, forcing us to contact the front office each time to retrieve packages—often delayed until the office is open. Despite repeated reports, the problem remains unresolved.Overall, it feels like residents are paying premium prices for subpar maintenance and inconsistent management follow-through. While the Mera location is undeniably convenient, the ongoing maintenance delays, unaddressed issues, and lack of responsiveness significantly diminish the overall living experience.

We’re satisfied with the completed work order for the filter change and reset offline oven on 10/23/25. Rusty was very pleasant, and has good customer service.

I requested my maintenance request late morning and Rusty was ready to take care of me after 1 ish! He had everything complete in less than 30 minutes. Explained how often I need to change filters and batteries for smoke detectors. Also changed my refrigerator filter. I now have a schedule for requesting this maintenance.

Recently we were notified that the entry gate code has been discontinued and only access will be via a resident list connected to phone.1 Our names were left off in spite of our agreement at the time of lease.2 What was the basis for listing residents alphabetically by FIRST name? Our society identifies persons by last name first.3 Who made the decision to DISCONTINUE the code ? Our previous experience has been that without a code, drivers will follow an entering vehicle risking damage to vehicle AND gate , or simply lining up into the street obstructing traffic both in the driveway and the public street.IF anyone from management actually reads this review, we would ask that these comments be taken into consideration, and changes made regarding gate code and directory for the safety of all residents and visitors.

We have not been here long enough to feel a part of the larger community, but expect to over time. The staff is outstanding.

We were disappointed that Linda alluded to the shower being dirty because my grandson had been there a few days. It was very insulting. We vacuum and mopped cleaned and sanitized the cabinets and floors. The comment was unacceptable.

Staff is very professional kind and courteous

Please let me know immediately when a covered parking spot and a storage unit become available. Both are important to me. Thank you!
