We enjoy our stay at Mera Westgate but, frankly we have been awaiting your proposal prior to making the decision to renew. Mainly, we were quite surprised a few months ago when we learned that you were offering our C1 unit for around $2,400. We are paying and have been paying substantially more over the past 3 years. Now at our renewal time, you have nine C1 units available that you offer to someone off the street for about $400 less than we pay. There are now several new apartment complexes nearby that have similar sized units for under $2,000 monthly and some offer 2 or 3 months free rent and cash bonuses as move-in incentives. Please check out your competition and then make us a renewal proposal. Obviously a “free carpet cleaning” will not convince us to make a deal.

When my son and I were originally shown a few apartments and told about the amenities offered here we were impressed. BUT after moving in, things were not as presented. The activities were cut. The staff were not really interested in what your concerns were. It seemed they no longer needed to impress you. People coming in now are offered larger apartments for much cheaper rates. If you express your opinions about this the response is always “staff can’t do anything about it, it’s corporate decision”. So why do we do these surveys they don’t give us any hope or satisfaction that we are heard or that changes will be made.No one likes to move, especially when they have made great friends but when you don’t feel appreciated and the equity of treatment here doesn’t fall toward the long time residents. It doesn’t leave you with a 100% positive opinion “I’m home”.
