The salesman who took my order subsequently left the company and no-one bothered to get in touch with me to take over the relationship. Consequently I had to make several phone calls over a period of months to ascertain when my car was going to be delivered and ready for collection. I felt that had I not made the calls then no one would have bothered to contact me. I had originally wanted to take delivery of the car before December 2016 but was persuaded to wait until Jan 1st and finally took delivery on Mar 1st. I was not kept up to date with progress. This was not what I was expecting from my first MB purchase. I was finally allocated a new salesman Tom mid Feb and one of his first comments was that he couldn't guarantee delivery by Mar 1st despite the car sitting in the dealership!! I persuaded him that being kept waiting even longer for the car was not an option that I was prepared to consider.Also having paid for the premium plus package I was hugely disappointed to discover that the car was fitted with an analogue radio this had not been discussed with me and I assumed obviously incorrectly that in this digital age that MB would be fitting digital radios to all cars as standard. The car is fitted with all sorts of gadgets and gizmos but not a digital radio WHY??
