The service reception was empty of staff for a good 10 minutes on arrival. Very thin on the ground when compared to the approximately 10 staff sitting at the various desks in the sales area - no customers anywhere. I guess the two departments do not work together?

Would be nice if the courtesy cars were cleaned before being handed over. The vehicle i received had drink stains on the passenger seat and tobacco in the middle storage compartment.

The week previous to contacting Mercedes Brighton I had purchased the same car from another Mercedes dealership. A few days before I was due to collect the car, I lost confidence in them as it felt like they had not listened to what I wanted and more importantly what I didn't want! I did not want to take the risk to travel all the way to collect the car and be disappointed. I chose to cancel the order and looked around for another vehicle. I called Brighton Mercedes and spoke to John Dudeney. I could not of been more relieved that finally someone listed to what I wanted and I felt like I was being looked after. So much so that I purchased the car without test driving or even seeing it in person! John sent me plenty of photos of the car and the paperwork to go with it. When I collected the car I was not disappointed. There are 5 Mercedes dealerships closer to me than Brighton but it was worth the journey. A full tank of fuel was also a lovely touch by John as I had travelled so far. The service I received has definitely convinced me to go back to them when I finally make the switch to an electric car

Not really although it would have been good to remind customers when buying a car that they will need to purchase car tax before driving the car away. In my case I needed my mobile phone to authorize payment unfortunately I forgot to bring it and had to return home to collect it, return to the showroom and complete the transaction. Otherwise, totally smooth, professional and easy process.
