Please pass this comment onto your quality assurance department.My Mercedes GLC 43 AMG 2018 model Reg: S40 SOV (originally GV68 EUC)I bought it last year from Mercedes Brighton & Hove and it had a constant judder from the front tyres on left and right hand lock (MB Call it crabbing) it happens in all weathers hot and cold, I have experienced it on other performance cars when it is very cold but nowhere near as aggressively as it is on the Merc’ the tyres skip & pop making a loud noise which is pretty alarming and embarrassing.When I got the car the OE front set of Dunlop’s had been changed to Contisport contact 5* (star) which is the BMW prefix on the near side and Contisport contact5p on the offsideThe offside tyre cracked, skipped & popped so the MB dealer changed it to a contact 5* and it mostly sorted the problem.I have just recently needed to replace the front tyres due to wear and the Contisport contact 5* has been superseded with Continental sportcontact 6* and I am back to square 1 skipping popping and cracking.MB say there is not a safety issue with the car but it is a characteristic of the AMG model’s 4 wheel drive system, they know about it but refuse to do anything about it.To me, that’s a pretty poor excuse for a relatively expensive quality car, it’s so bad that it spoils the enjoyment of driving it.Before I spend another £500 quid on tyres can you make any recommendations?RegardsStuart McAulay07801 687184stuart@sovcomm.co.uk

Special thanks to Gary Willis the Service Manager in Eastbourne for going above and beyond, to resolve an issue that another Mercedes Dealership created and then they didn't deal with it, where he did thankfully, very much appreciated. I have a service plan already

Yes i was advised that my tyres didnt have much tread left and then advised to go to kwickfit when needed...i said why when i had last tyre done here...then said i can do....is it because its mobility scheme im not a valid customer

I must say that I was totally satisfied with the way that I was treated during my purchase. I was dealt with by Ellie Goldsmith. She kept in regular contact with me, always keeping me informed with progress. She was very courteous towards me. She also had a good knowledge of the car and its spec and history. Even though she is a sales person, I felt that she cared that I was sold the right car for me, and was not just sold a car. I do believe many salespeople (maybe even yours) could take example from Ellie when it comes to how to treat perspective customers.
