Engine light appeared and was related to the thermostat. Car was left loaner given my car was driven to check if engine light would again appear. It didn’t I understand it’s Mercedes policy not to replace thermostat if the engine light does not come on. I picked up the car and was told if the engine lights reappears to bring the car back The thermostat for this car model is on a warranty extension. If Mercedes knows there is an issue with the thermostat- I don’t understand why it wasn’t replaced.
