Front of house were especially good and car feels great following the service and work on the brakes. However, I pointed out the brake issue on booking and again at the beginning of the day, which I would think should lead to some early investigation as to the issue and related parts. That wasn’t the case and it wasn’t until everything else had been done that the garage looked at the brake in question, at which point it emerged that I’d need a new calliper. As a result of not having investigated until after 14:00, the work couldn’t be done on the day and so having waited at the garage since 09:00, I then had to walk to the train station, get the train home and return the next day. A simple investigation of the issue that I’d highlighted when booking and on the morning would have had a huge impact on my day (and following day) and I honestly consider that a failure of process. That said, the people were great, and the car (now 10 years old) is also great.
