I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent experience with your service department.My vehicle was with you for repairs for two weeks, and I collected it on Monday, 16th February. However, on the morning of 18th February — after just one day of driving — the yellow engine warning light came on. I immediately attempted to contact your team to report the issue.I left a message with Mark requesting a call back from Robert who looked after the vehicle but did not receive any response. Since then, I have made several further attempts to contact the service department by phone and email, but my calls have not been answered and my emails have not received any reply. This lack of communication is extremely frustrating and disappointing.In addition, when I collected my vehicle, it was returned to me in a very dirty condition, with bird droppings all over it, which was unacceptable after being in your care for two weeks.I work as a chauffeur and rely on this vehicle for my livelihood. The ongoing engine warning light and the uncertainty surrounding the repair have caused me significant stress and financial difficulty, as I am unable to work confidently while this issue remains unresolved. Although the car does not appear to be driving differently, I am understandably concerned about operating it with the engine light on. My customers complain that they see my engine light is on.I expect this matter to be treated as urgent. Please contact me immediately to arrange a prompt inspection and resolution of this issue. I would also appreciate an explanation for both the recurring problem and the lack of communication.I look forward to your immediate response.

Mercedes have had my car for over 10 days - i have tried calling them for an update and its so poor speaking to someone there.i tried calling them about 10 times its on my phone records and they answered and put the phone down .i want to take this complaint higher to Directors level

My car was with your service about 2-3 weeks ago for change of tyres following pothole damage. I had a hired car from enterprise which was arranged by yourselves and was only valid for 3 days. My car took longer to get fixed due to the logistic side of things under leasing company. I specifically asked both Morgan and Scott to extend the hired vehicle more than a few times. I have been in constant communication with your team who kept telling that this was being dealt with. To my frustration, this did not happen and I got charged £200 by enterprise. On Friday 13th of Feb I received a call from enterprise saying that Mercedes Gatwick has still not extended the hired vehicle and that the case will now be closed. I would like to reiterate the fact that this was not my fault and I am expecting compensation for the loss of money and the stress that this has caused me. Therefore I am letting your team know that I am making a formal complaint.

Bought a Mercedes e class back in December. Last week I had a notification flag up if low air pressure in a tyre so I took it to a tyre place to be told there is two cracks on the wheel which had been marked with chalk so someone knew about it!! I have escalated this with lookers of Gatwick but I don’t seem to be getting any reply of the seriousness of this matter.

Asked for photos of my car then completely ignored me.

I took out a 2 year service + MOT contract on 20/1/26 and cancelled it 22/1-26 as I was informed the earliest I could have a service is 3 months from taking the contract. I was informed by your service contract department that Gatwick dealership would refund my money within few days of the cancellation. I have emailed and physically went to Gatwick dealership to be told they await instructions from the service contract department. All the while, the service contract department tells me they have contacted the Gatwick dealership- the latest email from them on 9/2/26 reiterated this. I still await the refund as of 10 mins ago before I started this complaint process.The handling of this matter by the Gatwick dealership is disappointingly poor and has dented my confidence in my assumed quality service provision by the Mercedes Benz brand.The company has had my £624 for nearly 4 weeks, depriving me of opportunity to earn interest on the money and is causing me unnecessary stress while this avoidable situation drags on.I hope Mercedes Benz would take these into consideration of a swift resolution to this matter.I have all email correspondence on this matter if required for your investigation.

The sales guy we saw was a guy called Penn in Crawley. He was amazing. He pulled out all the stops to try and help us. Unfortunately circumstances changed which gave us no choice and we couldn’t receive with a car but overall we were super happy with the service.
