I was looking to buy a car and called the general store. This wonderful gentleman named Scott Andrews answered and put my mind at ease. We went through my general issues and what I was looking to get. He reassured me that he would do his best to come up with a list of cars that would meet this criteria and send me a personalised list/ video. When discussing appointments, I was worried that I would have to take time out of work but he informed me that they are open over weekends and provided a suitable time. He was through and as soon as we got off the phone, literally in about 30 minutes, he sent a video across with a cars that were in store and continued to re assure me that if these were not what we were looking for, we would discuss further at the appointment. He also re assured me that we would discuss financial options that suited me and I didn’t have to tear my pockets apart trying to find a car: At the appointment, he was welcoming and offered a test drive which was something I didn’t want do but he ensured that I was making decisions for myself and I didn’t feel scared to voice my views. over all, he was amazing and I felt comfortable and at ease trying to purchase a car.

Wanted to buy this 74 registered m, white, A class Merc. I think if the sales team was a bit more flexible, I would have bought this car. They were quite rigid.

Got free servicing when bought the car now saying I have to pay for it, zero integrity

Dear Roland,This email is a continuation of our earlier call made at 16:13, 22/01/2026.I am writing to formally reject the EQA, registration LS71AMO, which I collected today, 22/01/2026, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The vehicle is not of satisfactory quality, is unfit for purpose, and was sold with misrepresented financial terms.1. Safety-Critical Faults & Handover Condition: Within 30 minutes of collection, the vehicle displayed several major faults that should have been identified during a Mercedes-Benz "Approved Used” inspection, and the before sale MOT:• Critical Tyre Failure: The front-left tyre pressure dropped to 160 kPa (Red Warning) while on the motorway, rendering the car unroadworthy and the rear drivers side wheel displayed a yellow/orange warning.• Safety System Failures: Multiple errors stating "Active Collision Assist" and "Lane Keeping Assist" are inoperative.• Visibility Hazards: The wipers are perished and smear dangerously; additionally, both headlight units have significant internal fogging.• Missing Items: The vehicle is missing factory-standard wheel bolt covers and the rear air vent LED dial/knob which you acknowledged.• Battery Charge: You stated that the charger wasn’t working and the battery was not charged to 100%. However, this indicates a wider problem - that the vehicle was not ready or adequately prepared before sale.2. Financial Misrepresentation: I have identified a significant discrepancy to my detriment between our agreed terms and the final contract:• Devaluation: My part-exchange (LF16AYX) was originally valued at £2,500, but this was lowered to £2,000 in the final agreement without my consent.• Removal of Benefit: The £500 "Lookers Deposit Contribution" present in my earlier agreement was removed from the final finance summary. While I agreed to the removal of the bonus due to servicing costs, I did not agree to the further £500 reduction in my car's valuation. Under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations, this constitutes a misleading action.3. Formal Request for Documentation & SAR: I was not provided with the final agreement signed in-store. I formally request a copy of this document immediately. Please also treat this as a Subject Access Request (SAR) under UK GDPR for all signed contracts, internal appraisal documents, and PDI checklists related to this transaction. If this contract is not provided within 24 hours, I will escalate this as a "misleading omission" to Trading Standards.Required Action: I am exercising my Short-term Right to Reject this vehicle. I require a full refund of all monies paid and the original value of my part-exchange, totalling £20,495:• £15,000 (Bank Transfer).• £2,300 (Credit Card payment).• £500 (Initial Deposit).• £195 (Vehicle Excise Duty paid separately).• £2,500 (The original agreed part-exchange allowance for LF16AYX).I am not obliged to accept the return of the part-exchange vehicle, nor am I liable for any refurbishment costs you have incurred on it, as the refund must return me to my original financial position without loss. Please find attached photographic evidence of the dashboard tyre pressure warnings, the moisture in the headlight units, the missing wheel bolt covers, and the conflicting financial agreements (demonstrating the unauthorised £500 discrepancy). The vehicle is available for collection at your expense as it is currently unroadworthy. I look forward to your confirmation of the refund timeline within 24 hours.**Please note that as this is now a formal dispute, I require all future communication regarding this matter to be conducted via email. This is to ensure a clear and transparent record of our correspondence for both parties.Yours sincerely,Davide Arbisie: davide.arbisi@gmail.comp: +44(0)7894497223

Helpful and professional-welcome desk and quickly offered coffee a great touch

Not a complaint, but I cannot find any other way of emailing you.I have received an MOT reminder for MB C Class Estate SE, Reg KY65YLK, which I sold last year. My new vehicle is registered with you and is a GLA 200 Sport. This now has my private plate A1 RJH, as did the previous C Class Estate before reverting to the original Reg, KY65YLK. Can you please amend your records accordingly. Thanks

Lack of serviceMy pcp expires 26 January and I initially choose to return the vehicle to Gatwick. However, I have subsequently been told by Brighton hospital not to drive due to a medical condition. I’ve spoken to a number of people but nobody has solved the problem. As I cannot get the vehicle to you, can someone collect the vehicle from me please.Thank youYoursTony Smith

cust paid deposit £500 02.01.26 and has made several calls chasing this back as finance didnt go through for him

The service we have received from Scott Andrews has been excellent. He has made every attempt to arrange meetings that are useful to our timetable and was genuinely pleased to see us when we arrived. He was kind and positive throughout the entire experience and listened attentively to our requirements and, despite not finding the car straight away that we are looking for, I believe sincerely that he will work to find the right model. I don't feel the need to look anywhere else for a new car and look forward to concluding our business with him..
