MSG email to me 7 Dec 2025RE Gl 61 GWV.Thank you for coming back to me, following your reading of my Service review and the requested response to Trustpilot.I had an immediate reaction to your service department when they told me that the handbrake had failed the MOT test. They informed me that the MOT had identified a grinding noise within the rear brake housing. I had not noticed this noise whilst driving, and was somewhat surprised, knowing that the rear brakes shoes had been changed the previous year. It seemed to me, even after the break mechanism had been dismantled following the MOT failure, that there was no confirmation that the fault they found could’ve been affected by the shoe replacements. It seemed to be deemed that the handbrake pads head dislodged and consequently the MOT failure. My concern remains that a possibility that the replacement shoes and reassembly of the mechanism had brought about the dislodgement of the pads which were not subject to any change. I’ve not complained about this in my Trustpilot review. However, you have been sensitive enough In reading my report to recognise that I’m not a happy person. I have service package with lookers Gatwick , I have had my car serviced by Gatwick recently and the car is saying that the oil needs to be reduced . After a conversation and a booking i have tried to contact Gatwick to talk about the car and they have not answered there phone over two days and i get through to a central booking hub. they then leave a message for them to phone me which they have not responded too ..I do not have the time to hang around waiting for a call back which does not arrive .I did get through today after another attempt to phone them, but got through to the hub again instead of Gatwick answering the phone. So the hub phoned them and they responded to there call i got no apology, they guy on the phone just told me his problem on how busy they are which i have no sympathy with. A different approach would have been be appreciated My time is important to me. i need a conversation with them . Regards MR .R LEGG.

customer has called as car was in for service yester and when vehicle was dropped off his wife advised the car was needed back by 3pm for the school run, called several times between 1-3pm and was unable to speak to anyone in the service department to get an update, was only able to get through to reception and sales where someone joked that after lunchtime there is no chance of speaking to anyone in service due to how busy they are which he did not expect this response from a Mercedes site. also advised key fob battery used to be changed on every B service but this has not been done as the same battery he placed in 5 year ago is still in. Also advised that while the Ad-Blu was filled the wiper fluid was not filled as he has had to completely fill it this morning as it was empty. finally has advised that when checking the oil stick this morning the oil is black and he had expected at least a lighter colour to it following the service so he is not 100% sure what has been changed oil wise.

Having recently changed my car I found that every effort was made to ensure the new car would meet my needs. The person involved in the sale exceeded my expectations in terms of addressing my questions when considering a different model of car. They did a great job.Everyone I spoke to in the dealership was very approachable and helpful.

Justin was so very helpful with excellent response times

Good afternoon. On 20.11.25 I purchased a cable for my Mercedes door lock from Mercedes Gatwick for £11.46. I was sure the cable is the problem. But when I took the door apart, I saw that it wasn't the cable's fault, so I decided to return the cable to the Mercedes-Benz Center to get my money back. However, the person responsible for spare parts kindly refused to take the cable back because the purchase was under £75. As far as I know, I can return any purchase to the place of purchase within 14 days. Why doesn't this apply to the Mercedes center? I would like to resolve this issue peacefully with you, because if it doesn't work out, I will turn to other authorities.Thank you for your time.
