Very disappointing customer service. I was genuinely interested in purchasing a GLC Coupé, but Salman Haq never got back to me. Fortunately, I started by looking at a used GLC… and the past weekend, I ended up finalizing the purchase of a new Macan instead.

The car we chose was not fit to purchase and feedback and updates were very poor.

Good morning,My late father purchased the above registration back in July 22.Mr Dean harding19 ferrier close, Me89jlActing on behalf of my mother - Alison hardingHe brought the vehicle from lookers Maidstone, with the understanding the vehicle had 38.957 miles on the vehicle.My father passed away Feb 2024, since then the vehicle has not moved.Vehicle currently has 43,000 miles on the vehicle has now an up to date MOT on the vehicle.We have been trying to seek the vehicle for the past year but the mileage is incorrect on the first MOT and is showing 111,984With this error we are unable to resell the vehicle and get retail amount for the vehicle.I have in touch with Daniel Giles regarding your company repurchasing the vehicle back from us.Which we will be 4 grand out of pocket as this is our only option now to sell the vehicle back to you because of the error on the MOT.Vehicle has also been serviced with genuine Mercedes parts which we have proof off and Daniel has said that you do not count that a full service history.Yet if the vehicle was in warranty and proof of servicing was carried out with genuine parts they would still honour the warranty… please advise why this needed to be taken of the priceWhy was this not corrected prior to my father purchasing the vehicle…My father was sold a vehicle that we believed had 38,957 miles on the clock but the history doesn’t match up…I was then told by your company to get in touch with the company that first mot’d the vehicle but my father’s contract for purchasing the vehicle was with you.I also have the issue of Daniel can only see the vehicle Monday-Friday but myself and my mother work Monday - Friday and would not make it over to the dealership before the dealer shuts.I have been in communication with him since July and the vehicle has now dropped another 2 thousand pound.I have been instructed by the motor ombudsman to allow you as a company to find a solution and reply to my complaint before I go to them again.The vehicle was mis-sold to my father, unfortunately my father paid cash and did not finance the vehicle otherwise I would have backed the vehicle due to the mileage/not issue.I have attached proof of MOT issues to this email.What I am asking for is a fair price of the vehicle being repurchased considering the inconsistency with the mileage on the not paperwork.Daniel I qoute saying ‘oh we don’t worry about that’ feels me with well this is clearly happening a lot and the discrepancy with the mileages are never being sorted.I look forward to hearing from you,

Could not get me anew car in time

I booked the 1hour express service on…I booked the 1hour express service on line and then got told on the day that Maidstone don’t provide that service and it would be 2.5 hours. The coffee machine wasn’t working at the start, but was working after half an hour wait

I purchased a used mercedes c class cabriolet from Looker Maidstone. Initially I had very good service from Ola the salesman. The car was prepared and I picked it up a week later. Unfortunately it was a very busy Saturday and they had a sales event running so despite having an appointment had to wait half an hour to be seen (minor annoyance). As I drove away from the showroom I noticed there was no fuel and the car was on reserve fuel. I couldn’t risk driving home to Hastings as the nearest petrol station was 10 miles away so had to drive into Maidstone to find a petrol station (another annoyance). Then half way home and a message came up ‘check oil level when you next refuel’. The next day a checked the dipstick and no oil registering on the dipstick. I had to put 2 litres of oil into the car! I had put the car in my integral garage overnight and in the morning was a strong smell of petrol which was very concerning as our bedroom is directly over the garage (serious concern) I contacted Lookers and asked that the salesman call me as I was concerned that the car hadn’t been serviced or checked over. After 3 messages without response I finally got through to Ola and he transferred me to Ray the Service Manager. Ray told me that if I returned the car he would get it looked at (I live 30 miles away). Ray provided me with a replacement car while mine was examined. Ray also found an instruction manual for the car which was missing, which was helpful. The workshop couldn’t explain why the car was so short of oil despite assuring me it had been serviced. They also discovered and repaired a leaking fuel line, which was the source of the petrol smell. The car hadn’t been valeted properly either because the back of the front seats were covered in black scuff marks that I had to clean off. I really can’t believe that a Mercedes main dealership would supply a car with no petrol, a serious lack of oil and in a dangerous condition with a leaking fuel line. Really disappointing and not what I would expect from a company like Lookers who I have previously bought from (Ashford Branch).

was in for service and advised ad-blue was topped up, since driving the vehicle away message has now shown on dash to advise 500 miles remaining. has called back up to get this looked at and has been advised he will need to pay.

This dealership couldn’t do enough for me. I arrived unannounced on the off chance of seeing someone and I was seen straight away and welcomed warmly.
