The online booking process was straightforward, but it was clearly a centralised system from M-B UK, that didn't communicate with the retailer. My booking was confirmed by email and phone call. However, I then received a call from Mercedes Shrewsbury stating they did not have space on the day I had a confirmed booking. This was overcome. The communication from the service department was excellent at all stages. However, on collecting my car the contents of the central storage under the armrest, had been completely moved around and frankly were in a complete mess. I can think of no reason why any technician would have need to look into this area. The stowage compartment under the drivers seat had received the same treatment, and the contents had clearly been "gone through". So much so that the torch from this stowage area was found in the rear off side passenger footwell. I would welcome an investigation and explanation.

Having a service plan i would of liked to have been able to have the car collected/returned or a courtesy car but those options were'nt available on that day so i had to book a day off work and arrange for somwone to collect and drop me off at the showroom

Very good experience overall, and thanks to Nick jones for his expertise and his help, only thing I have to say is if I say I don’t want gap insurance or any other product , I don’t expect to be asked twice again! I buy a car every year to two years so I know what I want!.
