I was told on the phone I would have a complimentary car wash and vac, I did not receive this service, I asked a member of staff who was dealing with me and she said oh I can get it washed if you want, I pay for a service plan and I would expect the premium service even if the car was only in for MOT, if the service was offered over the phone do it, don’t say oh I can get it done if you want. I was a little bit disappointed, Mercedes is a prestige car manufacturer so all customers should receive a premium service from the dealership especially. I have had cars serviced and tested at smaller independent companies and have always had a car wash as standard.

Given that in the great scheme of things my problem was a minor electrical fault, I couldn’t have been more pleased with both the way I was dealt with, and the rapid resolution of the issue. Very pleased.

Booking car in was difficult. I know now that older cars aren’t on digital service records. This completely threw the person I spoke to, who insisted my car had no service record. I also booked my husbands car in for the following day for a service as this simplifies dropping off and collecting, but when husband rand to say can it be mot’d as well, the had no record of the booking. My car was however booked in twice. Used to be so simple. Ring and book. Now it’s 20 questions.
