The time scale to order a part in ( diesel filter for A Class) took a week. I felt it was too long. I had to call the dealership to chase up the part and then have to rebook the car in

I have a motability vehicle, on the morning 0f car service, my car was collected by Chris employee of Lookers. He drove my car to Stafford for its service, later in the day,l received a video of car inspection, l had my car returned washed and valeted by Chris late afternoon.I found the whole experience excellent, collection of car, service, return of car washed and valeted.. 5 star service.

I was kept waiting an hour whilst Mercedes Central & Mercedes Stafford sorted out / agreed I DID have a Service Plan. Then I was told the advice on booking that service would be around 1.5 hrs maximum was wrong. That it would be longer. They s was entirely unexpected. Eventually my car was returned after waiting for 2.5hrs +. This was by far the worst experience in over 15 years as a Mercedes Benz customer in Staffordand much of it was apparently down to Mercedes Benz Central not contacting Nationwide, my bank about the Direct Debit since November last year. Just appalling service from them, no apology and they even hung up on the call to sort it out on the first call from Mercedes Stafford.This despite taking out a 4 year service package last November. It’s the first time I’ve ever doubted the reputation of Mercedes Benz for excellence in Customer Care. Mercedes Stafford in this respect did their best to help me.If there is ever a repeat of this abysmal service will I ever buy another ……. the jury is well and truly out despite the last 15 to 16 years of Mercedes ownership, reliability and integrity excellence.Sincere Regards,Ken WilsonLong standing owner & customer.

Whilst I'm always very happy with the dealer (and the staff I interacted with who are brilliant), in Stafford, I did not like the central booking system as I always prefer to talk directly with the dealer who will be looking after me.As for the service plan, I wanted to take a one out when I purchased the vehicle from Stafford last May/June but your system was being updated/changed. I tried several times in the months after that but gave up as I was unsuccessful in getting someone to sort it. I also sent a note to Mercedes h.o. but received no reply either.
