I phoned yesterday to enquire about owner manual. The person who took the call did not give me the impression they were interested to assist and they hung up on me so I was disappointed. The person who had sold me the car in question only one week ago was very polite but was off which was a unfortunate

On return to collect my car, there were no staff on reception or anywhere in showroom other than one man on the phone.

I had made arrangements to view a car on 31/1/26 however the car was sold the day before. Unfortunately Callum didn’t call me so I made an unnecessary trip. I also placed a deposit on a car that was at Worcester on the understanding that it had been prepared for sale. I am currently on day 14 and still don’t have the car.

Dear sirs / madamPlease take this email as a full complaint against the service i received from your dealership in tonbridge..I called up today regarding a vehicle you advertised on autotrader for £27,625 .. i spoke with a guy called callum and requested a video as the add showed no photos..He said he would do this after the phone the call, i asked if i could leave a deposit with stating yes and the amount of £500 requested. I sent the deposit and we also discussed finance but i wanted to see the video first..Within 10 minutes i had been notified of a hard search being carried by a company called DSG but still no video received. I then receive a called from the used car manager who advised the specified and marketed price was wrong..I have now paid £500 deposit and have a hard search on my credit file.. i want the £500 refunded immediately, the hard search removed from my credit file plus compensation for all my wasted time .Failure to this will result in escalation . *This complaint is about chaos, non-communication, non-responsiveness - again.*The service department doesn’t answer the phone.*Our car has been booked in for a service and MOT with the car being collected and delivered back from Tonbridge for some time.*On Monday while we were in Yorkshire, we received a call from Maidstone Mercedes (less than 48 hours before it was due) saying they didn’t collect from our address. They cancelled the job and made no attempt to resolve on our behalf. No idea what was happening as the service and MOT had been booked at the Tonbridge branch every Mercedes we ever had has been serviced (approx 15+ cars). We have purchased almost every Mercedes from Tonbridge, except on the occasions our calls weren’t returned.After lots of calls it we were reassured the original booking, including collection and delivery were restored at Tonbridge.*We received a text confirming the vehicle would be collected at 10 a.m. today.*Unsurprisingly no one has arrived so attempted 4 times to call Mercedes Tonbridge. Call transferred and a man advised no collection was to be provided. I advised that it would happen and apparently some poor driver will be dispatched within the hour. Experience tells me this is unlikely to be achieved.*We need the car for Friday as we are travelling up north again.*The excuse on this occasion is a ‘change in systems’. However, incompetence is a regular occurrence with this dealership. We have both been plagued with calls, emails and post to invite us to their recent ‘Platinum’ Event, no doubt to have been treated to numerous cups of coffee, with thin promises of a superior product. The reality is exhausting and staggering incompetence thereafter. Each time we have an issue, there is always an excuse. It simply is not good enough.
