Not enough information from Mercedes about build date slippage. Nearly bought another make when getting frustrated.

I had a few garages look into why the EML light was coming on and how to fix it but all to no avail. I asked mercedes to check it out and they gave me a thorough picture of what the problem was. We discussed a plan to fix the issue and after the work involved was carried out the cost was fair and reasonable.

I was asked i I wished to wait for the error message to be reset and that it would be around an hour so I chose to wait. In fact it took 2.5 hours and whilst I had taken plenty of reading material this did not manage my expectations in advance.Luckily I managed to get away in time for my next appointment at least with a video of the vehicle inspection and a clean car and work competed without charge.
