I should have been told on my first visit that Dr. Narvaez didn’t like to do surgery if the A1C is above 7.0. Instead, I found out 10 days before my surgery date.

I felt that the doctor was dismissive of my concerns and was not entirely clear about the diagnosis. Also, I did not like that I was taken for an x ray before even seeing a doctor and that when I asked to speak to the doctor first, I was denied the chance to do so. I don’t see how x rays are necessary in every circumstance that you can skip the conversation and determination that one is needed.

The doctor was very clear in explaining my injury and choices of treatment and gave me time to determine the course of action that I feel comfortable with.
